Jon Bartner joined the GGP team in 2019 and serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. Jon oversees all aspects of the firm’s operations and accounting functions, working to help structure and institute the firm’s investment program while reducing operational risk.
Prior to joining Gotham, Jon acted as the Chief Operating Officer for Alphabet Management, LLC a billion-dollar, multi-strategy volatility fund. Over the last 14 years Jon has served as the Chief Operating Officer for numerous hedge funds and private equity funds, where he built and managed institutional operational platforms.
Originally from Fort Lee, NJ, Jon now lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters. He graduated from Swarthmore with a degree in economics.
